Veneers
Porcelain veneers are wafer-thin shells of porcelain which are bonded onto the front side of teeth in order to cosmetically improve their appearance. They are routinely used to cover teeth which are discolored, worn, chipped, or misaligned.
Typically veneers are difficult to stain, making veneers a very popular solution for many people seeking that perfect smile. Strong and very durable, veneers last from ten to fifteen years, and come in colors that will brighten dark teeth without the worry of them changing color. Veneers are typically done in only two to three office visits and can actually strengthen your tooth.
LUMINEERS™ have been called 'the biggest advance in cosmetic dentistry in 4,600 years. Because they are made from a patented, super-strong porcelain, they can be made as thin as a contact lens, lessening (or, in some cases, even eliminating) the need to drill away enamel when preparing the tooth. Now you can get a pain-free dramatic new smile without the tooth grinding of traditional veneers! For more information about Lumineers™, click here.

Sapphire Tooth Whitening
With the use of the break-through "blue light" and hydrogen-peroxide, the
Sapphire technique will have your teeth looking as bright as new in a one hour visit.
The Sapphire whitening technique is the latest state-of-the-art technology that effectively whitens teeth. Most patients have experienced an average whitening of teeth that are 9 shades whiter than before, some have even gone beyond that average.
Dr. Nathanson will examine each patient so he can determine if the procedure is right for you. Once you are qualified for the procedure, the process will begin. From the time the whitening gel is added, to the completion of the treatment, the procedure is finished in about an hour.
Depending on your exposure to staining foods and beverages, Sapphire results can last as long as 2 years. The treatments have been known to remove stains from caps, veneers, and bonded teeth. Although
Sapphire may work in these situations, the process alone will not change the color of caps, veneers, and bonds.
This tooth whitening is a safe and painless procedure designed for virtually
anyone who wants to brighten their smile. In limited situations, there is
a minor, dull ache following the procedure. This discomfort will last for
a short period of time.

Bonding
Composite bonding can work wonders for your smile. Using materials that match the shade, translucency and the texture of your teeth, gaps between teeth can be closed, spots and discolorations can be eliminated, and your self-confidence can be enhanced through the improved appearance of your smile. Composite bonding is excellent for small defects in the teeth -- spots, chips, or gaps between teeth. However, since bonding is more susceptible to staining or chipping than other forms of restoration, porcelain or ceramic is usually the material of choice for smile alterations involving an entire tooth or multiple teeth.
Bonding for teeth involves the use of composite resin tooth-colored filling material. This material can be used on the anterior (front) teeth or posterior (back) teeth. The procedure is sometimes referred to as bonding because an adhesive agent is used to actually bond the resin to the tooth structure.
Do you have gray or dark fillings that show in the corners of your smile? Very often these old silver amalgam fillings are not only a cosmetic problem, but also have leaky edges and decay underneath. Replacing them with bonded tooth-colored fillings will improve the way they look and will also strengthen the teeth through the bonding process. In these photos, you can see how placing bonded tooth-colored fillings eliminates the gray "shine-through" caused by the old silver amalgam fillings.

Invisalign
Invisalign is the best way to straighten crooked or misaligned teeth without the discomfort and hassle of traditional metal braces. A series clear removable plastic sheaths (called "aligners") are custom made for your teeth by taking impressions and analyzing them by means of a sophisticated computer program. Each set of these barely detectable aligners is worn for two weeks, gradually moving teeth in line.
Length of treatment varies depending on treatment goals and the severity of the misalignment, but usually takes about a year or less. Invisalign is especially appropriate for people who had successful orthodontic treatment earlier in life, but whose teeth has since shifted out of line. While it won't work for everyone, it is a great, more comfortable alternative to traditional braces for most people.
